What Mountain did BioWerX Need To Summit?

BioWerX needed a full platform to meet the needs of their internal team, their massive Sales Rep Team, and their end clients. We built out their Salesforce org to meet these needs with multiple integrations to external software, 2 digital experience portals for their clients and representatives, and immense platform automation to keep these different pieces working together. Salesforce handles inventory, lead management, new orders, order fulfillment, commissions, notifications, and support in a central platform.


The main platform orchestrating the software stack is Salesforce Sales Cloud Enterprise Edition. We use Experience Cloud for all customer and rep portals. We have integrated with external software like Quickbooks, insurance verification software, and allow for orders to be made over API using Salesforce and Mulesoft.

We have a variety of tools providing OCR, and AI action including trained Open AI Expert models, and Salesforce Agentforce.

We have a custom Document Generation solution and E-Signature solution built right into the Salesforce platform saving over $20,000 a year versus using external solutions like Docusign.

We have a successful platform orchestrating all workflows across the company and their partners. With hundreds of doctors and representatives collaborating securely on the same platform. 

BioWerX on Salesforce is able to manage their entire inventory, order fulfillment for hundreds of orders a week and managing commissions and invoicing for their company. 

The long term vision of the initial implementation has gracefully handed order volumes now exceeding $100 million in revenue quarterly, and growing rapidly.


Challenges Overcome

The medical industry presents unique challenges to software. HIPPA compliance, patient confidentiality, and the fact that a lot of communication in the medical field still takes place over fax all present interesting challenges that we have overcome.
